AUSVM recently worked with some great Spring props, we acheived strong visual impact with these beautiful paper lanterns.. with very little dollars spent!

To make the most of a good Spring display, colour block where possible, it really does grab a customers attention ...

Window Display, with predominatley pink lanterns as the backdrop

From a Visual Merchandisers point of view, our working life becomes so much easier during spring. Product is lighter (no more time consuming product layering – yay!). Product is brighter (tons of colour to draw from) and the season brings about endless inspiration for creative concepts. All in all it’s a great time for Visual Merchandising! So AUSVM this season have gone butterfly made, they are current, cute, and colourful, and a great prop to use in your display space to draw attention to product and advertise the change in season!

Retailers are heavily propping displays, to create the theatre & drama in their store fronts. So don’t be shy with your VM application, make big bold statements and go overboard, entertain your customers, they will remember you for it!

The themes of the window displays were international, so it was a trip to New York, Tokyo & Paris. The VM Students worked in conjunction with organisers, suppliers and designers to create stunning window displays. Mannequins were positioned in front of oversized TV screens, images rotated on the screens capturing the essence of each city, and a variety of props completed the displays. The end result a virtual VM trip around the world ... well done girls it looked great!
